Frequently Asked Questions.
Do you have an elevator?
Yes we do have an elevator. It only gives us access to the main dining floor (2nd floor) and not The Attic. It is located at the back of our building, across from the entrance to The Keg.
Go inside the glass set of doors and up to the second floor. Go right down the hallway down to the end and go through the 2 sets of doors that lead into our kitchen. Taking another right through the black swinging door will bring you out to behind our bar and the host stand will be right in front of you.
If you require the elevator and have booked a reservation please add that to the notes so we know to keep you on the main floor. If you are confused about where it is, please send one person from your party to the host stand and someone will will walk you around.
Where do we park?
Whistler is a walking village so the main parking lots are the Skier Day lots and you can access them via Lorimier or The Village Gate Boulevard. There are other underground parking lots located around the village, some of the main ones are below the Whistler Conference center, under the bridge on Village Gate Boulevard and under Earls.
Do you take walk-in customers?
Yes we do! We fill the gaps in our reservations with walk-in customers and we also save 1/3 of the restaurant for walk-in’s. Occasionally this space is booked out for private functions though.
As a walk-in customer you could be sat anywhere in The Attic, our lounge above the restaurant, or the dining room with a reservation after you.
If you are sat at a table that has a reservation after you, you will be told at the host stand how long you are able to dine for.
Do you have a patio?
No we do not but we have air conditioning!
How far in advance can we make reservations?
Our yelp reservations site opens reservations 3 months in advance.
We recommend booking early during the busy season to make sure you are able to get the time you want. We take bookings every 2 hours so please make sure to show up on time and order in a timely manner so that you do not feel rushed at the end.
Are children welcome?
Yes, we are a restaurant and have no age restrictions. Minors are welcome until we close and can sit anywhere in the restaurant except at the attic bar. We have a kids menu but are quite strict on the age of kids ordering off it.
Can we bring our stroller into the restaurant?
Unfortunately, we do not allow strollers anywhere in the restaurant. We can store a few of them at the host stand if they fold up or you are welcome to leave them at the bottom of the stairs inside the door as we have a camera down there.
Do you have highchairs?
Yes we have highchairs, but only 3 of them and they are more for toddlers than children under the age of 1. If you request a highchair and other bookings before you also requested a highchair we may not have one available.
If you request a highchair and are not using it and another table needs one, one of our staff members may ask for it back. We do have quite a few booster seats for older children.
Can we bring our dog into the restaurant?
We do not have a patio so unless your dog is a service dog and they are wearing the proper visible service dog vest unfortunately we cannot accommodate them. The service dog also has to remain under the table.
If you are bringing a service dog with you and you have a reservation, please let us know so that we can put you in a table where the dog will be comfortable.
Can you accommodate allergies?
We take allergies very seriously. Our menu is well labelled but please talk to your server about your allergies and do not try to navigate the menu on your own. We are a very high volume kitchen though and if we think there will be a risk of cross contamination with your allergies the server or manager will be able to steer you in the right direction for a safe and delicious meal. If you have a very serious allergy, we recommend coming when we first open to lower the risk of cross contamination even more.
We do have peanuts in the kitchen so we are unable to accommodate air borne peanut allergies.
Do you have a corkage fee if we bring our own bottle of wine?
Yes, it is $30 for every 750ml bottle of wine you bring. We have a maximum amount that you can bring yourself is 1 bottle per person of legal drinking age in your party.
It’s my (Birthday, anniversary, bachelor party, etc.) Do you do anything special?
That’s great! Thanks for celebrating with us! We have candles available that we can put into any dessert off our dessert menu that you would like to order for the special person (people).
We also do not sing, that is our gift to you as we are terrible singers!
I want to bring in a cake, is that allowed?
Yes you can bring in your own cake. We have a cake fee of $3 per person in the reservation which will be added to your bill.
I want to request a specific table in the restaurant, how do I do that?
The only time we are able to guarantee a specific table is if you have made your reservation for right when we open (5:30pm or 5pm in the winter). We do try our best to accommodate your table requests but we can not guarantee it as it depends on how the restaurant is sat before you and if that specific table is finished in time for your reservation.
